Corban's head and ears are VERY swollen from lying stationary (edema). They are trying to find the best way to adjust him to reduce the swelling. Since his hips are dislocated and legs fractured, that makes it pretty tricky. His coloring wasn't good and his heart rate & temp. dropped last night, so they started him on some antibiotics, thinking he has an infection. :(
I'm hoping he'll be a "new man" by tomorrow. They were starting to give him some milk yesterday (which would help strengthen his bones and help him heal), but they stopped the feedings when he took a turn for the worse last night. Praying they can start back again tomorrow.
I saw an x-ray of his fractures today and they are pretty bad. :( His left leg bone is at a 90 degree angle. I hate it for him and wish I could take the pain away. Just wanna hold him and make it all better!
