Eye Doctor

The eye doctor came this morning to examine Corban's eyes. He didn't handle it very well (hd dropped his heart rate, even though he was on more oxygen), so the doctor wasn't able to do the whole exam. They'll have to do it again later when he's more stable.

Also, we are not sure if he has opened his eyes yet. One nurse thinks he might have a few nights ago, but otherwise, he keeps them shut.

Later...

We had a sweet sweet time with Corban tonight! We got to watch him open his eyes and look around for a loonnnnnnng time. Did my heart some good. It was nice to be there for one of his "firsts." I feel like I miss out on everything, not being with him very much. The nurses know him better than I do!
